Noism1 is a dance company, based in the city of Niigata.
Since their formation, they've been doing activities of “no-ism”
(having no principle).
They will present an omnibus piece which will see them revisit their
starting point.
Mirroring Memories
“Mirroring Memories” is an omnibus piece. Noism has created ten works for ten years since 2008 through their activities of “no-ism” (having no principle): to create their own performances which can be classified as neither modern dance, contemporary dance, nor theatre. They selected scenes related to “Kuroko” (a stage assistant attired and hooded in black) from the ten works to perform. Also, there will be a new work that the artistic director Kanamori is going to perform in. Following the success of their performance in the previous BeSeTo Theater Festival in Yonago, this will be their second appearance in Tottori.
